Transition Walthamstow are looking for a volunteer who wants to slash their heating bills. They are running a draught-busting workshop between 2pm and 5pm on Saturday 4th February and need a volunteer home.

They are looking for a house in Walthamstow which has wooden doors and wooden window frames, radiators fitted to external walls and preferably a loft (but this is not essential)….and a householder who is happy to host 6-8 people for the afternoon.

The workshop will teach the basic techniques for draught-proofing doors and windows and making radiators more efficient, in conjunction with HEET. All you would pay for is the cost of the materials – in the region of £20-40. If you are interested, get in touch and we will pass your details on to Transition Walthamstow.
